Built by a marketer, not guessed at by a developer
Every feature in SMMart exists because it solved a real problem, in a real agency, for a real client, before it ever became a line of code.
Built from real agency work
SMMart was built by Donovan Banks, founder of Mediaholic Marketing, a Durban-based digital marketing agency. SMMart Manager is a Mediaholic Marketing product.
Donovan runs client social media, produces monthly performance reports, and manages real marketing campaigns for real small businesses.
SMMart exists because he kept hitting the same problems by hand, over and over, and decided to build the tools he actually needed rather than wait for someone else to guess at them.
Where the features actually came from
Each one started as a problem in real client work.
Catalogue-first matching
The catalogue-first matching exists because the same client photo meant different things depending on which business it belonged to, a real problem with no existing tool built to solve it.
Posting caps
The deliberate anti-spam posting caps exist because an agency that cares about its clients doesn't want to be the reason a client's page starts looking automated.
Voice notes
The voice-note workflow exists because real small business owners don't want to sit and type.
Pixel-perfect branding
The pixel-perfect logo and font placement exists because a working marketer knows exactly how bad it looks when a brand asset renders wrong.
Content Ideas
Content Ideas exists because clients constantly asked the same question: "I know I should post, but what do I actually say?"
This isn't a marketing agency dabbling in software, or a software company guessing at marketing. It's the same practitioner judgment, built into a product you can use directly.
