How It Works

How It Works

Install. Connect. Done.
Your store handles the rest.

Up and running in under five minutes. No technical knowledge required.

From install to first post.

1

Install SMMart Manager from WordPress.org

Search for “SMMart Manager” in the WordPress plugin directory, install, and activate. The plugin appears immediately in your WordPress sidebar. No configuration file to edit, no FTP required.

Requires WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 7.0+, and PHP 7.4+.

2

Connect your Facebook Business Page

Click “Connect Facebook” in the SMMart Manager panel. You’ll go through Meta’s standard OAuth flow — the same process used by any app connecting to Facebook. Approve the permissions and you’re redirected back to SMMart Manager automatically.

You need a Facebook Business Page, not a personal profile. If you don’t have one yet, create it at facebook.com/pages/create first.

3

Connect Instagram (optional but recommended)

If you have an Instagram Business account connected to your Facebook Page, connect it here too. This enables simultaneous posting to both platforms in one action — double the reach, zero extra effort.

Requires an Instagram Business or Creator account connected to your Facebook Page via Meta Business Suite.

4

Generate your first post

Select any product from your WooCommerce catalogue in the SMMart Manager dashboard. Click “Generate Post”. SMMart Manager reads your product name, description, price, and images — and writes a benefit-led caption for Facebook and a separate one for Instagram. Takes about 10 seconds.

5

Review and publish

You’ll see a preview of both captions before anything goes live. Happy with them? Click Publish. SMMart Manager posts the carousel to Facebook and Instagram simultaneously and drops the UTM link into the first comment on Facebook automatically.

6

Set up the scheduler and walk away (paid plans)

On paid plans, open the Post Scheduler. Set your posting days, times, and product source. SMMart Manager posts every day on a rolling weekly schedule — rotating through your catalogue automatically, even when your WordPress admin is closed.

Three steps. Then it runs itself.

1

Install

One click from WordPress.org. No setup file, no API credentials, no configuration required to get started.

2

Connect

Authorise your Facebook Business Page and Instagram through the built-in Meta connection. About 90 seconds.

3

Post

Generate and publish manually, or set the scheduler and never think about it again. Your store posts itself.
